Staff Profiles

Jack DeWell – Jack is the Owner / Manager / Consultant. He has been preparing taxes for individuals and small business owners since 1988. He has earned an AA degree, AS degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He worked as a Finance Manager for the U.S. Air Force and achieved a Level 2 certification in Finance & Accounting. Jack retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2016 to open the business.

Jack has 2 sons, and 3 daughters. The youngest daughter is Chris Janyelle, who is attending college and hoping to get accepted to medical school. Jack loves to fish and usually takes a couple fishing trips annually either with his son or his siblings. He enjoys bowling, riding his motorcycle, working in the yard and spending time with his family. It may sound strange but he enjoys working with numbers and solving issues.

Jack enjoys helping his neighbors and friends with numerous projects. If he is not in the office, you will probably see him out helping a neighbor or working a part-time job somewhere. He seldom meets a stranger.

Josh DeWell –Josh is Jack’s son. Josh has a degree in accounting and currently works for Speedway/7-Eleven corporation in the accounting division. He has been preparing taxes for 8 years and currently operates his own tax business. Our business partners with his business during tax season as a way to maximize our resources to provide the taxpayer with the best possible outcome at an affordable price.

Josh is a lot like his dad. He loves to fish, travel and bowl. Josh is a very good bowler and has bowled a couple 300 games. He is married and has a daughter and a pet dog and cat at home. They do enjoy taking vacations together usually to a lake somewhere. He is very outgoing and makes friends easily. Josh loves building a big bonfire in the backyard and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows with his family by his side. He has a great sense of humor. He is a big Michigan Wolverine fan; however, we don’t hold that against him.
